The following is the remaxrd.com Privacy Policy governing the use, collection and use of information and data from and about each of our Users when using our Website ("the Site") through any web browser and on any device.

As long as the User accesses or uses our Site the User accepts this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions. While logged into your account you agree to this Policy and the Terms and Conditions displayed on the Site at that time.

Magic Magnum Ventures, SRL, d/b/a RE/MAX® Dominican Republic (RE/MAX RD) may change at any time its Privacy Policy for various reasons, such as the following, without limitation: legal, technological, changes in the collection of information, conditions of use and functionalities. Updates to this Policy will be accessible and valid once the version is updated on the Site by Privacy and Data Protection Legal Notice. Any changes to the Privacy Policy will be notified in a timely manner and the consent of the users will be requested.

THE USER EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT THE USE AND BROWSING OF THE SITE IMPLIES ACCEPTANCE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY BY THE USER, OTHERWISE THE USER WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE SITE OR ITS SERVICES.

Information gathered

RE/MAX RD collects information and data that the User provides directly to provide the Services and Functionalities described in our Terms and Conditions that the User must accept in order to use the platform.

Your information may also be used for testing Site improvements, for data analysis, in conjunction with RE/MAX DR third party vendors or on social media and platforms.

RE/MAX DR will retain your data and information as long as it is necessary to provide the Site Services to the User or other Users.

At any time, the User can ask us for his/her personal data, variations, elimination or administration of the same.

RE/MAX RD may share the information collected from the User to any competent authority, as long as it is legally required by such authorities.

1.1. Data provided by the User

RE/MAX DR collects information from and about the User when you register and complete your information in your account settings, every time you make a physical or digital communication with us, when you add data and when you make use of the Site's Functionalities, such as - but not limited to - when you request the service of payment of rentals with credit cards.

The types of information and content, without being limited, that we collect are: name, telephone numbers, addresses, logos, e-mails, branches, prices, rental fees, renewal dates of rental contracts, country, region, time zone, password, company or organization name, company or organization trade name, location, IP address, attachments, user permissions, communications within the Site and between users outside the site, payment information, contracted service and contacts. The User accepts and understands that any information or content entered on the Site may be stored and used by RE/MAX RD for the purposes covered by the Terms and Conditions.

1.2. Data collected when using the Site

RE/MAX RD registers all the activities of your account when you are using the Internet, in any device, among others the location of the devices, IP addresses, browsers or navigators and others related to software and hardware of the User. These activities may be recorded by RE/MAX RD or any of the companies that provide services to us through cookies and other similar technologies.

Our servers automatically record information such as web requests, Internet protocols, URLS, browsers, as well as interaction with the Site through direct clicks or links, and other information regarding the User's navigation on the Site. The information can be recorded from and on any device. In the case of mobile devices, we may identify your telecommunications service provider and telephone number.

1.3. Information collected from third parties

RE/MAX RD may collect information from third parties through services that the User uses in integration with the Site and from other sources. Also from suppliers, partners, affiliated companies, advertisers of RE/MAX RD in commercial, marketing and analytical issues, without being limited to these.

RE/MAX RD may use information collected from devices, including mobile devices to complete and contact the User on other devices, as well as to track the User and for the use of analytics through third parties such as Google Analytics and to send communications such as advertising, identify web browsing activity and other personalized content.

1.5. Information for Credit Card Rental Payments

Among the functionalities of the Site is that of Payment of Rentals with Credit Cards. In such event, all Users, tenants and owners, accept and understand that their profile data will be visible among them. The Tenant Users accept that RE/MAX DR cannot assure the moral or commercial quality of the owners added by one of them and that they are part of the rental payment transactions under the Terms and Conditions of Use and the considerations of this Privacy Policy.

2. Cookies and other technologies

When a User visits our Site, RE/MAX DR or through third parties uses cookies, Internet server logs, tags and other technologies to track your interactions. In turn, cookies allow you to avoid having to log in again when accessing the Web Site.

4. Your options

RE/MAX RD offers its Users several options for the use of their information. The User can:

- Request not to be contacted for offers or advertising.

5. Closing the account

The User may cancel his/her account in which case his/her information will be immediately deleted by RE/MAX RD.

RE/MAX RD may delete, block or cancel a User account for violation of one or any of the rules of this Privacy Policy or our Terms and Conditions, as well as for violation of laws, regulations, good uses and customs, for breach of commercial agreements, rules of morality or ethics without the right to compensation or refund of payments for services to the Site. RE/MAX RD reserves the right to publish or promulgate the reasons for cancellation, limitation or suspension of the account of any User, as well as the right to store their information for the purposes of the preceding paragraph.

6. Security

RE/MAX DR executes and provides for reasonable physical and technological procedures to prevent any unauthorized third party from accessing a User's information, to prevent it from being adversely affected and to maintain its integrity. We protect your information by encrypting it through the use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). However, there is no absolutely secure method of protection so the User agrees that we can not ensure or guarantee the privacy of your information either externally or internally to RE/MAX RD, so the User transmits your information at your own risk.

THE USER ACKNOWLEDGES AND ACCEPTS HIS OR HER RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT HIS OR HER PASSWORD TO ACCESS THE SITE AS WELL AS ANY ACTION THAT MAY OCCUR IN THE EVENT THAT THE USER SHARES IT OR ALLOWS ANOTHER PERSON TO USE IT.

Your password will never be requested by RE/MAX RD, its employees or related parties. You agree that you will not share it even if someone requests it on behalf of RE/MAX RD.

The User acknowledges that he/she is of legal age according to the legislation of his/her country of origin and that such age of majority is equal to or greater than 18 years old. If an underage User is identified, RE/MAX DR will proceed to delete it ipso facto.

7. Use of social networks

The personal data and information of users such as names, e-mail addresses, addresses, telephone numbers and others that are provided voluntarily and with consent through our web platform or by directly contacting our partners will be used for the purpose of disseminating our information, projects and promotions. They will be stored in our database to maintain and fulfill the best quality of user experience when navigating our portal and to improve the services provided, as well as contractual, legal and transparency obligations that require some kind of communication.
